The impact of AD on health care costs,
including direct and indirect medical and social services, is
currently estimated to be greater than $100 billion per year.
Because there is currently no cure for AD, the challenge for the
near future will be the development of new therapies and therapeutic
targets for disease modification and prevention. The presenter will
provide information on diagnosis and treatment methods to improve the
patients quality of life.
